Congratulations to Jenine Lawton. September's Gym Member of the Month!

Jenine Lawton, a Framingham resident, has been named Septembers Gym Member of the Month at UpperKuts Boxing Club. She is positive, energetic and always has a smile on her face. How long have you been training at UpperKuts and how did your hear about us?
My friend Leah Beth Allekian told me about UpperKuts in December 2015.  I tried a class and was hooked!  Since then, I have been coming about once a week.

Did you get the results you were hoping for from UpperKuts Boxing Club
YES - I have definitely gotten stronger and faster on the heavy bag.

Did you get more than you were expecting? If so, what other benefits have you noticed?
Beside getting stronger, I have noticed more definition in my shoulders.  I have tried various workouts over the years, but boxing has definitely enhanced my fitness level and helped with muscle definition.

How long have you been a client?
Since December 2015.

Prior to coming into UpperKuts, how did you view other Gyms and did you have any concerns regarding it?
Gyms can be boring.

Since being a client how has your understanding of fitness and your health changed?
I am realizing more and more that there are TWO aspects to physical health - fitness and nutrition.  I need to improve the nutritional aspect a bit. It's a work in progress!

What do you like most about UpperKuts Boxing Club
I love UpperKuts. I love the vibe, I love the grittiness, I love AJ and I love the community.  I am at a much different fitness level than most of the people, yet they are so motivating, welcoming and encouraging to me. Its a great place!  I could go to the gym and do the treadmill. OR maybe even lift a few weights and do some crunches. OR, I could go to UpperKuts and get total body workout - including things I hate like bear crawls and frog jumps, that I know are very good for me, but would NEVER do if I was alone! Thanks for always pushing me UpperKuts!
